32 Danish medical doctors and nurses stayed at Clarks Hotel i Varanasi
over New Year 2007. We participated in "Rose Fiesta" on New Year´s Eve. The management of the hotel had arranged a very good party with beautiful decorations, good food, fine staff, unique performers of Indian classical dance and a happy dance orchestre. We want to thank the manager of Clarks Hotel for giving us such good memories from Varanasi. Otherwise we enjoyed the facilities of Clarks hotel and the touristc sight of Varanasi and its life along the Ganges river. We would love to return to Clarks Hotel. I’m a fairly regular visitor to Varanasi and often have stayed in Clarks. True, it’s an older hotel, but that also means that the staff is extremely well trained and service is superb. I’m consistently impressed by the spacious rooms, the excellent food, and a staff that quite obviously cares for each individual guest. There’s a gracious quality to Clarks that one would not find at any of the newer, more impersonal hotels.

My recent stay met all my requirements and I was impressed with the level of service offered by the staff. Not only were they efficient but very friendly. I was travelling on a mixture of business and pleasure and that the hotel met both my business needs and offered relaxed surrroundings for my holiday. I usually stay at international hotels but enjoyed the more personalised service and truly firendly atmosphere. Definitely worth a try in Varanasi.

My recent stay at Clarks Varanasi in June was a comforting relief from a hectic schedule and the busy streets of India.
Rooms were large, comfortable and modern and it was obvious that some thought had been put into the finer things to make the hotel special and unique.
As a single female traveller, I received friendly and efficient service from the hotel staff , without being intrusive.
Having the pool and lovely gardens to relax in was also a plus.
Personally, it felt reassuring to know that I was supporting a family business and not some generic multinational chain.

“Relaxing Stay”

My recent stay at Clarks Varanasi in June was certainly a comforting relief from the hustle and bustle of the streets in India.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a good mix of old-word charm and modern decor, with evidence of recent refurbishment.
As a single female traveller, I received great service from friendly staff members, without it being too over the top and 'in your face'.
Being able to sit comfortably by the pool and spend relaxing time in the garden was also a bonus.
For me personally, it felt 'culturally' good to know that I was also supporting a family business and not some multinational conglomerate.

This stay at Clarks Varanasi was wonderful. The staff was VERY efficient and smiling, the room nice and clean. The location of the hotel in a beautifully manicured garden with a nice pool makes it a good place to chill out from the busy town. One more thing : I had one of my best Thali in India at their restaurant, and the mutton biryani was, for sure, the best I've ever tasted in my long experience of food in India!

My son and his friend fell ill in a guest house and was transferred to Clarks in Varanassi . The staff was so helpful that they look after him for one week by calling a doctor and assisting with all his needs like being at home. I cannot thank the staff for their kidness and assistance enough. Will recommend anyone to stay with Clarks.

Hotel Clarks Varanasi has very good hospitality service including providing a nice car with a chaffeur for a nominal price.

 Amzing Experience of the Old World Hospitality. A must go.

Loved the ambience and location. Swimming Pool is like a lagoon surrounded by trees. the staff is very friendly and courteous and makes up for the other deficiencies. Overall a good experience and good value for money.

A must go if you want to get a good deal.
